David,
My father, Guadalupe C. Rea (Tec4), was a member of Hq Co., 819th EAB, 926th EAR. Served 18 Feb 42 to 9 Oct 45. He helped build first airdrome (Great Saling/Andrews Field) in England in 1942. He served in Normandy (D-Day), Northern France, Central Europe, and Rhineland. I'd like to please add his name to the 819th EAB & 926th EAR rosters. I tried to attach an image of him and also of his discharge paper but the files are too big. I'll try to edit to right size and submit later. He's still living and will be 95 this summer.

Thanks for your dedication and contribution to this site.

Roland Rea

Roland, I've added your father's name to the 819th EAB roster.

David,

Thank you so much for adding my father to the 819th EAB roster. In the near future, I hope to send you images to include.

Thanks,

Roland Rea

David,

My father, G.C. Rea, had this group photo at the end of the war in his possession. He said it was mainly of the men with "high overseas points." It was taken somewhere in Europe. Since the picture is large, there are two images of the front and two of the back with the names. I need to send one of the images in a separate reply. Please take a look. You might consider adding these names to the roster. He says his buddy, Charles Girardi, is not in the group since he arrived to the 819th in England just prior to embarkation across channel on D-Day.

I'll send you a message at your personal email on your website also.

Thanks,

Roland Rea
