Hello all! My name is Arch and I am the grandson of Thomas (Tom) Hooker. I am assuming he was a Major during WW2. He retired as a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserve. My grandfather never talked much about his service. I still have some of his dress greens from his time in the Army Reserves, but not much was kept from his WW2 service.

One thing I do remember my grandfather telling me was that he was in charge of an all colored Battalion and that he helped build air fields in France and England. If anyone can help me find some information about what unit he served with, that would be great!
Arch
