Post subject:  is this site still being maintained?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if this site is still being maintained. I sent a whole bunch of info about my grandfather, who was in the 826th EAB. That was about a month ago, and I still haven't heard back.
It would be a shame to leave this site without an administrator... anyone know anything about it?
Thanks! -Mariana

Hi Mariana. Welcome and thank you for your interest.

Yes, I still maintain this site as time permits. Work has gotten very busy so I don't have the time I used to.

I did receive your email and it is on my list of things to do.

Thanks again.

Hello Mariana,

I am the curator of the D-Day Paratroopers Historical Center, located at Carentan / Saint-Côme-du-Mont. We are busy making a new display honoring the men of the 826th Engineer Aviation Bn. and the building of the Advanced Landing Ground A-10 Carentan.

You mentioned that your grandfather was in the 826th EAB and that you have whole bunch of info about him. The 826th was the unit who built Advanced Landing Ground A-10 at Carentan, on June 1944. I was wondering if maybe you would have any picture related to Advanced Landing Ground A-10 Carentan or the preparation and the landing of the unit at Utah Beach.

Many thanks for all the help you might be able to provide,

Michel De Trez
