Cliff,
I just happened to see this post on Rudy. There is a book out there on Bradley Field in Windsor Locks. This is the info on it.

My Dad was in Co. B of the 840th Engineers. His name was Edward Hazelwood. He passed away in 2000. We went to the Reunion that was held in Windsor Locks in the 80's. He usually tried to go to them if it was a driveable distance. I'm sure he would have known Rudy.
