My uncle "Chito", or rather PFC Baloba M. Guerrero served with the 876 AbnEAB during WWII. He did not talk about being a soldier or of being in the war. I found out recently he was a rigger MOS 189. As a matter of fact I recently found out he had served in the military. I trying to find information about the 876th and their specific contribution in the war effort. I have read about one lady who had a map of the locations the 876th served. I know the 876th served under the 9th Engineer Command, however, I wanted to find if the 876th had a shoulder insignia different from the command. I would like to build a shadow box in memory of my uncle with as much display material as I can. His 214 shows what ribbons and medals he is entitled to receive. However, there is very little written about the 876th that I can find. All help is appreciated.

Thank You
Bernardo
