ibiblio, a conservancy of freely available information, has been transcribing public domain historical books. They have recently finished one of the books I own called The Army Air Forces in World War II, Vol VII (Services Around the World). This is the section on aviation engineers and details the IX Engineer Command.

I just posted this on my forum too. Thought my readers would appreciate some background on the aviation engineers in Africa and the ETO.
